The term “hedge fund’ sounds risky to
some people. But today, the
term hedge fund has about as much descriptive value as the term mutual
fund. There are about as
many types of hedge funds as there are mutual funds.
Because they are regulated differently, hedge funds are limited to
Accredited Investors, those who have an investable net worth of over $5
million or recent annual income of over $200,000.
For those who qualify, Summit recommends a hedge fund partnership.
Hedge fund partnerships invest in a diversified group of hedge
funds who use different strategies or invest in different sectors.
