John is a Portfolio Manager and member of the Investment Committee at Summit. He joined the firm in 2001 after completing his Masters of Business Administration in Finance at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.

John's previous investment experience includes two years as an equity research analyst at Morgan Keegan & Co. in Memphis and an internship with mutual fund manager Mastrapasqua & Associates in Nashville.

John and his wife, Britton, have three children, Jack, Elizabeth and Miles.
