Sarah Russell Haizlip is a Senior Vice President of Summit Asset Management LLC.  She has over 27 years experience in the investment business; 10 years with another Memphis investment advisor. 

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Arts from East Carolina University.  In 1979, after ten years of teaching in North Carolina and Florida, she got her first position with an investment firm and has worked in the financial services business ever since.  

In 1982, Sarah came home to Memphis and worked for Morgan Keegan & Company from 1983 to 1989.  She served as an investment advisor for two other Memphis investment firms before joining Summit in January 2006. 

Sarah is married to Henry, a partner in Grinder Haizlip Construction Company.   They enjoy vacationing at their homes in Telluride, Colorado and Hardy, Arkansas.

Instrumental in the founding of the Women’s Foundation of Memphis. 

Member of the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees, Hutchison School of Memphis. 

Member of the Board of Directors of Facing History and Ourselves for nine years. 

Past President of the Little Glass Club of Memphis. 

Treasurer of the Woman’s Club of Memphis.
